Video: Cristiano Ronaldo runs it back with trademark stepover goal in training

Cristiano Ronaldo has been in decent form for Man United this season with 18 goals in all competitions but that’s a pretty low return as compared to his high standards. Cristiano has always taken a lot of pride in his numbers and this season seems somewhat underwhelming for the Portuguese star. Cristiano still has 7 more games to add to his goal scoring tally. Ronaldo needs four more goals to touch the magical figure of 100 Premier League goals for Man United.

Ahead of the game against Norwich, Cristiano Ronaldo has looked really sharp in training. The Portuguese produced his trademark stepovers to beat Hannibal Mejbri before slotting the ball past the goalkeeper in a wonderful goal in training.

Here’s the video of the goal:

Man United fans would be hoping for the same killing instinct from Ronaldo when Manchester Untied host Norwich on Saturday. The recent poor results have made Manchester United lose a lot of ground on the Top 4 and the club now needs a miracle to make it to the European spots.

Man United currently sit 7th in the Premier League table level with West ham on 51 points. Despite Man United’s struggles, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored the most goals vs Premier League Top 6 this season. Man Untied would be looking to their talisman to once again inspire them for the upcoming games.

After Norwich, Man United have two tough away fixtures. An away trip to Anfield followed by another away trip to Emirates might well define Man United’s top 4 chances. The destiny is already out of Man United’s hands as they are dependent on Arsenal and Spurs dropping points to have any chance of making it to the European spots. Man United have failed to win both of their last two games, drawing one and losing the other and dropping 5 points in the last two games hasn’t helped their cause a single bit.
