Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his desire to leave Man United this season after the club failed to qualify for European Football. Ronaldo joined Man United last season in a surprising return. The Portuguese was linked to Manchester City towards the end of the transfer window. However, Man United hijacked the deal and brought Cristiano back to Old Trafford.
The return season at Man United didn’t go as well as Cristiano would have liked. Man United failed to win any trophies for the 5th year in a row. Ronaldo was surprised with the drop in standards at the club and demanded changes.
However, the club seems to be happy with finishing trophy less every season. Man United haven’t shown any great intent in the transfer market either. All these circumstances have forced Ronaldo to leave Old Trafford and he has communicated his desire to leave to the club.
The three big clubs interested in the signature of Cristiano are Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Napoli.
Todd Boehly met Jorge Mendes to discuss Ronaldo’s situation and the idea of him switching to Chelsea. Bayern Munich are also thought to have been told about his situation, while Napoli are understood to be interested.
Ronaldo’s first option would be Bayern Munich where he would replace Lewandowski. Bayern won’t make any decision before Lewandowski is sold.
Napoli have also inquired about Cristiano Ronaldo and they are one of the surprise teams in for Cristiano.
The Final decision will be Ronaldo’s to decide where he wants to play.
