Cristiano Ronaldo is considering his options for next summer after Manchester United have failed to make any big signings in the summer. Ronaldo welcomed the arrival of coach Ten Hag but since then he hasn’t seen any ambition from Manchester United in the transfer market.
On the arrival of the new Man United Boss, Cristiano said:
“If he does well, all of us will be successful, so I wish him well. We are all happy and excited [about his arrival], not only as players, but as fans as well. We have to believe that next year we can win titles.”
In return Ten Hag also returned the praise to Cristiano saying:
“Ronaldo is a giant, because of everything he has shown so far and because of how ambitious he is. I want to keep him at Man United of course. He has been very important for this club and can produce great stats.”
However, a lot of things have changed recently and doubts have arrived in Ronaldo’s mind regarding staying at the club. Noticing this uncertainty, Ten Hag personally called Ronaldo to discuss his plans.
It is reported, Ten Hag wants Cristiano to lead his project at Man United. Ten Hag is ready to give the Captaincy role to Cristiano Ronaldo but he wants to make sure if the Portuguese is also committed to staying.
Ten Hag once again assured Ronaldo that he is a major part of his plans and he wants to take the team forward with him.
