After breaking into the French national team after making his debut with Monaco last season, Aurelien Tchouameni is gaining fans from all around Europe.
Real Madrid is one of the teams interested in the 21-year-old midfielder and sees him as a future possibility, but they aren’t the only big club interested in him.
Chelsea, another Premier League club, is said to be keeping an eye on Tchouameni and has him high on their list of prospective targets.
Chelsea are serious contenders for Tchouameni’s signing, as the midfielder is poised to leave Monaco next summer.
Since the start of the season, the youngster’s worth has risen from 18 million euros to 36 million euros, according to the website Transfermarkt.
Next to Fabregas, everything are going nicely.
Tchouameni is learning the ropes under the tutelage of Cesc Fabregas, a Spanish midfielder and Monaco colleague.
He’s said to be a quiet, modest young guy who is intent on practicing hard and developing his game in whatever way he can.
Tchouameni recently expressed his gratitude for Real Madrid’s interest in him, stating that he sees himself as a long-term fixture in their midfield.
