Mbappe teases his future: “I am pleased,” he says. “Many things are ahead, as well as tremendous difficulties.”

Kylian Mbappe was linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid from Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window, but the French striker has since been questioned about his desire to leave while speaking to the press.

Mbappe scored four goals in France’s 8-0 World Cup qualifying triumph against Kazakhstan on Saturday night. In his post-game interview, he expressed his feelings about the future while smiling.

Mbappe told TNT Sports, “I have had five incredible years, I have taken advantage of every opportunity and I continue to do so.”

“Right now, there are a lot of things going on, a lot of big obstacles, and I’ve previously spoken about it.”

Mbappe was then questioned directly whether he planned to remain at PSG in the near future.

“I’m here, I’m still here, and I’ll be here for the rest of the season,” he said.

His remarks merely add to the curiosity over his future, since his language implies that he is content to remain at PSG until the conclusion of the season, and that he is content for conjecture about what he will do next to continue.
Real Madrid are the obvious favorites to recruit him in 2022, and Mbappe’s statements of this type do nothing to soften the relationship.

Mbappe has been in excellent form for both club and country recently, scoring six league goals for PSG and starring for France in their Nations League victory in October 2021.
