Man United respond to Cristiano Ronaldo transfer request

Cristiano Ronaldo has put up a transfer request at Man United after the club failed to convince him in the new project. Ronaldo was ecstatic about the arrival of new boss Erik Ten Hag. However, things have drastically changed since then. Man United have been inactive in the transfer window while the rivals have strengthen their squads.

Man United’s unwillingness to improve their squad has put doubts in Ronaldo’s head. Ronaldo is 37 and he wants to spend the last few years of his career playing in a team who have a winning mentality. Man United currently don’t seem to have that.

Man United have gone 5 years trophy less yet they haven’t done anything to improve the squad. The club is ready to go another 5 years trophy less. Ronaldo has put up a transfer request and his agent is already in talks with several clubs over his transfer.

Ronaldo’s preferred destination is Bayern Munich however, Chelsea and Napoli are also in talks with Mendes over the possible signature of Cristiano.

Man United have responded to Cristiano’s transfer request by saying that Ronaldo is still contracted to the club for another year and he is not for sale.

Man United don’t want to sell Cristiano Ronaldo and they expect Ronaldo to be back for training on the given date. However, Ronaldo not arriving to training for two consecutive days over family issues has put serious doubts in the club’s mind.
