Huge news coming on Cristiano Ronaldo vs Arsenal

Cristiano Ronaldo missed Man United pre season due to family issues and the Portuguese has been lacking match fitness at the start of the season. Erik Ten Hag has assured Cristiano is a part of his Man United team plans but wants the Portuguese to get to his top fitness levels.

Ten Hag has now benched Ronaldo for 3 straight games and the Portuguese has seemed a bit frustrated on the bench. However Ten Hag stressed that he counts on his whole squad.

“As we said that. It’s really early in the season and we have a squad. We have more than 11 starting players, that is what you see now, players now on the bench can play in one, two or three weeks.”

With the transfer window done and dusted, Cristiano Ronaldo is now confirmed to stay at Man United for at least one more season. Ronaldo is yet to get off the mark this season after 5 appearances. However, he has only played one full game so far.

Talking to BBC in an interview, Ten Hag said:

“We are happy with him, he’s happy to be here and we want to make the season a success together. From the start we said we planned with him. It’s your vision, not my vision. We are all on one page.”

“You can see in training that it is clear that he has the capabilities. He will fit in becauseā€¦ I don’t have to explain. Great player. He will fit in every system or every style. That’s why we are talking, I said we are on one page. He knows what the demands are.”

Cristiano Ronaldo looked sharp in the 20 mins he played vs Leicester City. The Portuguese seems to be getting back to his own very best. And if the recent news is to be believed, Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to start vs Arsenal on Sunday.

Samuel Luckhurst the Chief writer for Manchester Evening News stated that one of Cristiano’s biggest fanpages stated that Cristiano Ronaldo will play on Sunday.

Ronaldo previously commented “Domingo o rei joga” which translates to “Sunday the King plays” on the same fan account when he was ready to play his first preseason game this season.

And now the fan account posted the same words now that Ronaldo is confirmed to start vs Arsenal on Sunday. A huge hint that Cristiano will start on Sunday.
