Erik Ten Hag wants Ronaldo’s former teammate at Man United

Man United are having a managerial change at Old Trafford next season. The Red Devils parted ways with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer earlier this season and hired Ralf Rangnick as an Interim Manager to serve until the end of the season. The Interim Manager also failed to inspire any success to Old Trafford and Man United have now gone five long years without any silverware.

However, Man United have agreed a deal with current Ajax Manager Erik Ten Hag to take over at Old Trafford from next season.

The move was confirmed yesterday as Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano reported on his Twitter account:

Erik ten Hag to Manchester United, here we go! Agreement on contract now set to be completed. Mitchell van der Gaag, priority candidate for coaching staff. #MUFC

Erik Ten Haag has had a very successful time at Ajax and he’ll try to bring back the glory days at Old Trafford. Ten Hag will be wanting some reinforcements to the squad and there are a number of players Man United would want in the summer.

One of those players is Ronaldo’s former Juventus teammate Paulo Dybala. Dybala’s contract expires with Juventus at the end of the season and he hasn’t renewed with the Italian club.

According to a report from Tuttomercato Web, Erik Ten Hang wants Paulo Dybala at Old Trafford. Dybala has been one of Serie A’s biggest superstars and there would be a number of clubs waiting to get the Argentine’s signature.

However, it is understood that Manchester United have already had a meeting with Dybala’s agent and have expressed their interest to bring the Argentine to Old Trafford. Dybala coming to Old Trafford would mean a reunion with former Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo. The two stars played together for 3 years at Juventus from 2018-19 season to 2021-22 season.

  1. We wait anxiously for the new broom. Our team is in a shambles at the moment. A ship without a radar. A bus without a driver. Disjointed. Disorderly. In disarray. Complete disaster. No confidence on the ball. Confused with and without the ball. Easily loses the ball. Cannot recover the ball. Cannot block the attack by the other teams. The Liverpool game exposed the rot at Anfield. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was devastated. Nearly cried, especially the buildup to the second goal. Liverpool made more than 50 touches without any disturbance from United players. Our players were enjoying the Kop’s exchanges. I couldn’t believe it. We need a complete overhaul

  2. First n foremost my congrats to ETH for being appointed the Manager of Man Utd.. i hope he will bring success to Man Utd of which has been non existence for the last 10 years…

I would have paired CR7 with Jarod Bowan cause JB will be supplying him with balls from the right hand side. JB is not a selfish player. Another player i would like to play on the left is Dewsbury Hall .. let CR7 plays another term so that these 2 players will bloom into world class under CR7 guidance…
