Erik Ten Hag makes decision on Cristiano Ronaldo for next season

The uncertainty regarding Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Manchester United has been going on for some time. Manchester United are struggling to make the Top 4 spot for Champions League football and it is understood that if Red Devils fail to make Top 4, the Portuguese talisman will leave Old Trafford. Ronaldo has been Man United’s Top Scorer this season with 18 goals but his teammates have failed to perform on a top level which has effected the team badly.

With only 7 games left this season, Man United will try their best to salvage a respectable finish. They currently sit 7th in the Premier League table below West Ham. Man United’s interim Manager, Ralf Rangnick’s reign will also end at the end of the season and it is understood that Erik Ten Hag is set to overtake Manchester United.

According to English website, Daily Mirror, it is reported that Erik Ten Hag doesn’t have Cristiano Ronaldo in his plans for next season and he is okay with the Portuguese Superstar leaving next season. It is also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes is working actively in the market to find a new club for his client. It is also reported that a big club (name not revealed) is interested in the services of Cristiano Ronaldo next season.

Robert Lewandowski is rumored to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season and the German Giants might turn their attention to the Portuguese Superstar who will be available in the summer.

However, the authenticity of these reports will only be proven over the course of time. Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t yet commented anything about his future and it is understood that the Portuguese will stay at Man United as he wants to bring the club back to a good level before bidding his final farewell to Old Trafford.
