Cristiano talks about the one “dream” he hopes to fulfill before retirement

Cristiano Ronaldo has had a glorious career spanning almost 20 years. The Portuguese has won a number of accolades during his prestigious career. He has won 5 Champions League titles, 5 Ballon D’ors, 4 Golden Boots, 3 FIFA Player of the Year, 4 European Player of the Year and many more individual awards.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a reference in World Football and a lot of youngsters look up to the Portuguese. Players like Kylian Mbappe, Erling Halaand, Joao Felix have grown up idolizing Cristiano. Ronaldo is the all time top scorer in Football history and his records are staying for a long time.

The Portuguese has achieved so much in his career that a player can only dream of. Even then Ronaldo is still committed to keep going.

Cristiano Ronaldo was asked if he has any dreams left to fulfill in football to which he answered:

“We can all have dreams and goals, but I have achieved so many beautiful things in football that I don’t have any dreams left. If you ask me if I want to win the World Cup? Obviously! But if I would end my career right now, I would be very proud.”

The World Cup is one trophy which has eluded Cristiano Ronaldo and the winter showdown in Qatar might be Cristiano’s last chance to put it right.

The World Cup in United States would mean Cristiano Ronaldo will be 42 at the time. It is highly unlikely if the Portuguese would still be playing at that time but knowing Cristiano, impossible is nothing.
