Cristiano Ronaldo’s Manchester United future hangs in the balance as Manchester United continue to fight for European Football next season. Man United currently 7th in the league suffered yet another disappointing result last night as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Leicester City. Manchester United have only 8 games left to secure top 4 but out of those 8 games three fixtures are against Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. One more slip and top 4 would be totally out of Manchester United’s reach.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford if they fail to secure European Football for next season. One club with which Cristiano has been constantly linked with since last summer is PSG and with Mbappe leaving this summer, the Parisian side might be looking to flash the cash on the Portuguese. If the move goes through, Cristiano will for a spectacular partnership with his long time rival Lionel Messi. It would be amazing to see the two superstars play together on the field.

Another move with which Cristiano has been linked with is a move back to the Portuguese Primeira League. Sporting CP has shown a lot of interest in Cristiano and Cristiano’s mother also said in a video last summer that she’ll bring Cristiano to Sporting when asked by the fans. Cristiano came through Sporting ranks at a very young age and he’ll be looking to give back to the club that announced him to the World.
Since his move back to Old Trafford, Ronaldo has been shocked with the drop in standards at Old Trafford. The Premier League club hasn’t won a single trophy in the last 5 years and they are also going without any silverware this season. Ronaldo’s desire to win trophies and compete at the highest level could also possibly become a reason behind him leaving Old Trafford.
